I’ve
been boating and building boats since I was fourteen years
old. After building several boats on my own, I worked
for yacht builders in the Tampa Bay area including Watkins
Yachts, Marine Trader International, Kiwi Racing, Windship
Trident Shipworks and Intertrim Marine Fabrications.
Marine carpentry is my first love and I enjoy working
with my clients from the yacht interior design stage through
the completion of the custom yacht interior.

Area Marine Service Inc. began in 1993 as a full service
yacht repair company, using my extensive background in electrical,
gelcoat and fiberglass, plastics fabrication, and interior
and exterior marine carpentry.
Bay Area Marine Service Inc. provides warranty service for
Sabre Yachts, Heritage East Yachts, Back Cove Yachts, Ocean
Yacht and Ocean Alexander.
We solve problems. From where to put the washer and dryer,
to building a new nav station or fabricating a custom boat
accessory, we have a custom solution for you and your boat.

Because there are always new possibilities in custom boat interiors, a yacht is never really “finished”. From the smallest items such as a teak wood towel bar, to an extra fold-down table for entertaining, to a complete interior refit, I strive to deliver exactly what my client wants.
